Prayer Request

Posted: January 16, 2012 in Uncategorized

This will be short and to the point.  We are asking for specific prayer for us for Wednesday afternoon, January 18th, as I have my first appointment at the ALS Clinic in Detroit, MI.  It will be at the Henry Ford Hospital and you can read more about it here.

We will be meeting Dr. Daniel Newman, a neurologist who deals only with ALS patients, and the rest of the staff there.  Dena has already spoken on the phone with his assistant, Stephanie, whom was very helpful.

At this point, we have had just over 6 weeks to digest the news that I have this disease.  Now as we look forward to our “new normal” we have more questions than answers.  There are many areas for which we need wisdom and are desperate for direction in!

Thank you for your continued support and love.

James 1:15 “If any man lacks wisdom, let him ask of God who gives generously to all.”

Neither death nor life, neither anges nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow–not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below–indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38-39 NLT We love you, too!
